neverending

I thought of the film "Neverending Story" and how realizing Christ is my true identity is like the film to me (Colossians 1, etc). The 'nothing" wipes through the world/universe and at the end the "Childlike Empress" is left with her crown (with a pearl on it) and the boy ((Se)bastian) who had been reading the story who had then become involved because they needed someone to help save them (he's a 'weak, ordinary, normal' boy, not some big muscle man or whatever)... and they're sitting there somewhere in the universe and she's holding in her hand something so beautiful and precious- like a light, grain of sand, or a pearl- and it's so small and so bright and so beautiful. The two are sitting there looking at it and I think it was what would be the beginning of the new world......

Bastian: "I can't believe it. They can't be talking about me!!!!.... Is it really me?!!!!.... It's not real, it's only a story!......."

Empress: "Bastian, why don't you do what you dream, Bastian?.... Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!....."

Bastian: "Everything's been in vain."

Empress: "*No*, it hasn't.........."

Bastian: "It's even more beautiful than I thought!!!!!!!!... It's WONDERFUL!!!!!!!...It's like the 'nothing' never was!!!!!!!"
